In these scorching hot summer days there is nothing better than a refreshing ice cold drink. Rejuvenate yourself with the aroma of fresh mint, and the sweet and tangy flavors of blueberries and lemon. This indeed is a drink for your mind, body and soul.
- Blueberries – 1/3 cups plus extra for garnishing
- Tea bags – 3
- Water – 3 cups
- Sugar – ½ cup or as per taste
- Lemon juice – 3 tablespoons
- Ice cubes
- Sliced lemons and mint to garnish
How to –
In a sauce pan, put the sugar, lemon juice and blueberries. Over low heat cook till the sugar has dissolved and the blueberries are mushy.
Add the water and bring to boil. Add the tea bags and allow to Steep for 5 minutes.
Pour the tea through a fine mesh into a bowl, using the back of a spoon squeeze out juice from the blueberries. Pour into a pitched and chili the tea for about an hour in the fridge.
Fill the serving glasses with ice cubes and pour the tea. Garnish with fresh mint and sliced lemon and serve.
