You need –
- Nutella – 2/3 cup
- Cream cheese – 8 oz (softened)
- Vanilla essence – 1 teaspoon
- Whipping cream – 200 mls
- Heavy cream – 2/3 cup
- Caster sugar – 1.5 tablespoons
- Chocolate shavings – as required
How to –
First beat the whipping cream till stiff peaks. Cling wraps and refrigerate.
In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and nutella till smooth. Add the vanilla essence and beat well till combined. Now add the whipped cream and gently fold in till everything is well blend and no steaks are seen. In a serving bowl or small glasses, spoon the mousse carefully. Cover with a cling wrap and refrigerate for an hour.
To make the topping –
Whip the cream till soft peaks are formed. Now gradually add the sugar and beat will till stiff peaks are formed.
To serve –
Pipe the whipped cream on top of the mousse and sprinkle some chocolate shavings and serve immediately.
Please note – I have added a small layer of whipped cream in between the mousse before refrigerating. You can also use cookie crust in between the mousse.
