You need –
- Watermelon, cubed – 2 cups
- Mint leaves – 1 tablespoon
- Lime juice – 1/3 cup
- Water – 3 cups
- Sugar – as required
- Ice cubes – as required
How to –
In a sauce pan, add the water and sugar. Heat through till the sugar has dissolved. Set aside to cool
Blend the watermelon and mint leaves till smooth (do not add water). Strain the juice through a fine strainer. Press gently so all the juice is extracted making sure not push the pulp through.
Pour the juice into a pitcher and add the lime juice, sugar syrup (adjust the sugar to sweeten to your taste). Add water if required and stir well. Pour into serving glasses with ice cubes and serve chilled.
